It's too bad there isn't enough room for a huge testimonial because we have had SO many good experiences with Tradewind Builders.
After interviewing 3 contractors and looking at their work we had no reservations choosing Mack. He sat with us and listened while we explained our half-baked plans for our home. After that first meeting we finally felt as though "we were heard". That is so important to a homeowner. We needed to trust that someone (Mack) would care about our dream home and not just consider us the next "project".
It makes us feel secure to know that the subs Tradewind uses have been used in many of their jobs. We know they do quality work.
Dave, our supervisor, has taken us under his wing. He is always available. We have his cell phone on speed dial and he always returns our calls....even after hours.
Of course, there will always be bumps in the road and with Tradewind each issue is dealt with honestly and swiftly.
We couldn't say enough about the office staff at Tradewind Builders. From the beginning of the project, Randy, examined every inch of our plans to ensure they met our expectations. Diane makes sure all the many decisions we need to make are accomplished on time, and Jennifer keeps us apprised of the contract details (change orders, etc). We also call upon them to assure us we are not making big mistakes in our design decisions.

Trade Wind Builders turned our "fixer-upper" house into our DREAM HOME. Early on, they were willing to take our ideas into account as the plans were drafted. As the process continued, they were also willing to make any changes we wanted. Our project manager was knowledgeable and helpful. He, and their entire staff were always available to answer our questions. It also warrants mentioning that their workers always came when they were expected. (This was not the experience we had in previous building projects.) All in all, we could not be happier with our new home or our Trade Winds experience.

It was a pleasure working with the Trade Wind Builder team. They were all knowledgeable and professional regarding my project at all times. The subs did a fine job and showed-up when promised and responded/corrected any issues in a timely mode. Since my project was a major remodel versus new construction, the team had to find creative solutions when combining the old construction with the new construction (ac duct work, stairs, opening up a load bearing wall etc).
